Yes I remember well the commisioning of the USS King DLG-10 because everyone on the ship worked like dogs to get her ready. WD Diovision had to make all the awnings from scratch. All the fancy work. Put oakum on the life lines and wrap them in canvas with needle and line. Made all the rat lines and polish the braa along with swabing all the main deck with fresh water.
