These scans are a part of a plan to aid in the decommissioning of naval ships. The resulting 3D models can be examined to ascertain the best plan for the dismantling of the ships.

Our two initial test projects were the USS Biddle, a DLG/CG-34 Destroyer, and the USS Coontz, a DDG-40 Farragut class Destroyer.
